Bertrand Loison

Bertrand is the Director of the Data Science, AI and Statistical Methods division of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office, and additionally heads up the federal government's Data Science Competence Centre (DSCC). The DSCC is the competence centre for Data Science, and offers services to the federal government in the field of data science (including 'Data Science as a Service').

Bertrand is responsible for the implementation of the new (December 2022) Federal Data Science Strategy, which sets targets for the coordinated use of data science across the public sector through increased accessibility and availability of data science tools and platforms.
